ISIS bride Shamima Begum is believed to have fled her refugee camp with her newborn son after apparently receiving death threats.
The 19-year-old from Bethnal Green, East London, is said to have been bundled away from the Al-Hol camp in northern Syria to another squalid base after a ‘price was put on her head’.
It is claimed other jihadi wives have vowed to kill her as they believe she has disgraced their cause.
Shamima, who was stripped of her British citizenship, has taken her week-old son Jerrah with her.
Shamima’s lawyer Tasnime Akunjee confirmed to The Sun she had been moved “due to safety concerns around her and her baby”.
When asked by the Mirror. he said: “We don’t know where she has been moved to but our understanding was that she had been moved.
“We have not had any confirmation of this.”
Another source told The Sun : “Shamima was threatened directly in the camp.
“She is living in fear of her life. There is a bounty on her head. She felt she had no option but to move her and her child to have a chance of survival.
“Shamima has become something of a celebrity and is constantly looking over her shoulder, fearing brutal reprisals for daring to speak out about life with ISIS.
“She’s in misery, but only has herself to blame.”
A Home Office spokesman told the Mirror they do not comment on individual cases but had not been informed of Shamima being moved or any death threats.
The teenager has begged for a “second chance” in Britain but admits she still loves her terrorist husband and she will “wait for him”.
Shamima and ISIS fighter Yago Riedijk, a Dutch Muslim convert, met just 10 days after the then 15-year-old arrived in Raqqa in February 2015, and they married at first sight.
